i actually planned to write and post this list on valentine's day. but i didn't do it, because i thought i didn't see enough films yet, to be able to make judgement and choose the best of it. however, if i postpone it any longer, i think the list would be posted next year. so here goes my list about top most favorite fictional couple, well, currently.
1. scrooge mcduck and glittering goldie
this tale happens when scrooge mcduck was young. he traveled around the world to seek wealth. at that time, people were crazy about digging gold, and so did young scrooge. and he finally found the famous goose egg nugget. but the one who really appreciated the nugget is goldie, the star of the north, the most famous music hall singer in dawson. she successfully tricked scrooge into slipping sleeping pills in his coffee, and took away the goose egg nugget. scrooge was getting awfully mad and forced goldie to work for him in white agony creek for a month. goldie agreed, but only so she could steal again the nugget. however, they finally fell for each other, but too stubborn to admit it.
and yeah, this made me cry.
b. miiko and tappei
i don't really follow the story of miiko, but i find them aso awesome! for all god's sake, they are 4th grader. and miiko is physically unmatched with him, but they are just cute together, you know.
this is my favorite scene. so tappei always helps miiko and uses the chance to tease her about it. being teased, of course miiko is mad at first, but then she realized she hasn't said thank you at all. i think this is the sweetest 'thank you' ever.
c. ted mosy and robin scherbatsky
i will remember every detail of ted's moments with robin. the first time he saw her, saying i'm in love with you on first date, first kiss on the roof, the limo, ted doesn't meet the perfect girl for her because he thought of seeing robin at his marriage as his guest and it just doesn't feel right at all, the rain dance, robin visiting ted at his office, robin saying falafel, asking ted to not get married with stella, the back-up wife proposal, blond ted, the amazing decoration with backsound highway to hell when he cheers robin up although he doesn't know her problem, the rejection, the announcement sms, the carousel...and others.
